５０歳の時、アメリカのソウル／ファンクレーベルのDaptone Recordsの創始者
ゲイブリエル・ロスに、ジェームスブラウンの声に似ている事で見いだされた
チャールズ。
デビューアルバムは、チャールズが６２歳の時にリリースされました。
この曲は、彼のセカンドアルバム'Victim of Love'の締めくくりの曲です。
After a hard life of sometimes living rough, sleeping on subway trains and often moving between low-paid jobs, Charles Bradley's soul voice has been hard earned.
Starting his musical career as a James Brown impersonator he was eventually discovered, at the age of 50, by Gabriel Roth, co-founder of Daptone Records.
This is the closing track from his second album 'Victim of Love'.
